A friend and I were just talking about cross browser testing and he wasn’t aware of Expression Web SuperPreview. If your unfamiliar with SuperPreview, it’s up there with Adobe BrowserLab for cross browser testing. I use it in conjunction with BrowserLab as I’m the type of person to ask for a second, third, and tenth opinion.
SuperPreview allows you to compare different browsers side by side and has a 60 day free trial. You can grab it after the trial for $149 as part of Expression Studio Web Professional.
I’m about to drop a three column Twenty Eleven code snippet and child theme that puts the content first while having 2 columns. I rarely work with 3 column layouts, especially those that are fluid AND use media queries. I mention this because SuperPreview has a browser interaction mode, where you can view a single browser in full screen and adjust the width. It supports jQuery, so your able to test if your media queries are functioning properly in every browser. For side by side testing, you can select screen resolutions from a drop down allowing you to view multiple browsers at the same resolution.
Another reason SuperPreview is worth having? You can preview local files in it, something web based services can’t do.
